Made for Nepal
Choose Nepali (Bikram Sambat) or English calendar when creating your household. Your months, your way.
SplitMate is the tidy, transparent way roommates in Nepal share expenses. Track groceries and household costs, calculate electricity from meter readings, include fixed rent & garbage, and see exactly who owes what — automatically.
Keep buying what’s needed. At month-end, SplitMate combines fixed costs with everyone’s variable spend and shows a fair “pay to the pot” summary.

Save the meter reading each month. We subtract last month (or baseline for the first month) and multiply by your Rs/unit rate. Supports rollovers.
See fixed totals, variable totals, per-person share, what each member already spent, and the exact amount to pay to the pot.
Keep your flat private. Invite roommates by email; only members can view or add expenses.
Fix mistakes quickly and export a CSV for your records or audits.
Dark, distraction-free interface tuned for mobile and desktop. Zero bloat for great Core Web Vitals.
Register, name your room/flat, pick BS or English calendar, and set fixed costs (rent, garbage, electricity rate, baseline).
Add their emails. Once they accept, they can add purchases as they go — no more messy group chats.
On month-end, SplitMate shows the fair share. One glance tells everyone what to pay to the pot.
SplitMate started with a simple goal: make sharing expenses with roommates in Nepal easy and fair. We designed it around real household workflows — rent and garbage are fixed, groceries vary, and electricity is calculated from the meter the way you do it in your diary.
The result is a privacy-first, invitation-only web app that keeps everyone on the same page with minimal effort.
Go to Meter Reading and enter the current meter reading. SplitMate subtracts the previous month’s reading (or your baseline for the first month). The difference (units) is multiplied by your electricity rate (Rs/unit) to get the month’s cost.
